Having shot a substantial portion of iconoclastic imagery over the years, I wanted to do a strictly hardcore series that was as much sentimental & beauteous as it was lurid and graphic.

Trying to find a lighting and processing balance that walked the line between contrasting and soft while at the same time preserving a stark sense of quality was a bit difficult (not to mention trying not to ruin the spirit of the mood while attempting to coach the positioning enough to get the symmetry I was looking for). In my opinion this was the piece that captured that tenor the best out of the bunch.
